The Reformed Episcopal Church Believes The Bible
|
|
We believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, inerrant,
authoritative Word of God. The only way God reveals himself to man is
through His Word. A person will only find God by studying the Bible and
he can only come to a right relation with God by believing what the Bible
says about God's Son, Jesus Christ. The teachings of the Bible are our
sole rule of faith and practice.

The Reformed Episcopal Church Preaches Jesus Christ
|
|
Jesus Christ is the incarnate Son of God. He was sent to this earth by God
the Father to pay the price for the sinfulness of mankind. Consequently,
He died on the cross of Calvary, He was raised again from the dead by God
the Father, He ascended into heaven where, right now, He sits on God’s
throne, ready to make intercession with the Father for all who trust in Him.

The Reformed Episcopal Church Is A Thoroughly
Protestant Church
|
|
In the tradition of the English Reformation the Reformed Episcopal Church
maintains and teaches the Doctrine of Grace as set forth by the protestant
reformers of the sixteenth century.

The Reformed Episcopal Church Is Truly The Biblical
Alternative For Those Of Other Denomination
|
|
Better than any other church, the Reformed Episcopal Church provides a
satisfactory basis for membership for those who presently belong to
other denominations. The clear teaching of God’s Word, combined with the
traditional position of evangelical Christianity satisfy the Godward
learnings of a person’s soul. The combination of the three forms of
church government (Episcopal, Presbyterian, congregational) into one vital
and working form makes it a church where people from all other denominations
can be comfortable. The welcoming to the Lord’s Table of “all who love our
Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ in sincerity” makes this church the ideal
community church which is truly Biblical.

The Reformed Episcopal Church Provides Denominational
Stability
|
|
The Reformed Episcopal Church provides advantages which
the undenominational community lacks. Among these are: direct
connection with a Seminary, thus assuring a continuing trained
ministry, faithful to the scripture; association and fellowship
with like-minded Christian people of other communities; proper
disciplinary supervision so that the testimony of the parish
may be held to a Biblical presentation of truth; a denominational
Board of Foreign Missions which works to fulfill Christ’s command to
“go into all the world and preach the Gospel.”
These necessitate this definite affiliation.

The Reformed Episcopal Church Provides A Beautiful,
Historic and Biblical Form of Worship
|
|
The historic Liturgy of the English Reformation is the crowning
achievement of the English speaking world. The emphasis of Worship
is upon each and every person giving praise to Almighty God.
The extensive use of Scripture throughout the service makes the
Reformed Episcopal Order for Morning Prayer one of the most
biblical and comprehensive services of worship. Because of the
emphasis on Scripture, the whole of the service meets the many
needs of those participating and joins those who now live in the
present together with those who lived in the past. It truly is a
service of common worship.

The Reformed Episcopal Church Is An Evangelical Church
|
|
The Reformed Episcopal Church recognizes that the great work of
the church is to bring souls from eternal death unto eternal life
through the preaching of the Gospel. It believes in the complete
separation of Church and State. It seeks to exercise influence
upon life by teaching the individual believer to apply
the Scriptures to every aspect of life.

|
The Reformed Episcopal Church Is A Small Denomination
|
|
The Reformed Episcopal Church, being a small denomination,
offers the great advantage of Christian fellowship among its
communicants so that all members can come to know one another.
The detriment of bureaucracy, so often present in larger
organizations, is greatly reduced. Being a small church,
we do not readily secure members from other parishes of our
own communion and thus our work is kept highly evangelistic
through the necessity of winning souls for Christ
in the communities we serve.

The Reformed Episcopal Church Cares About You
|
|
We care enough to tell you the truth about God, about yourself,
and about mankind. We care enough about you to deal with you
and your needs personally and confidentially. We care enough about
you to actively invite you to come and join with us as together we
encourage one another, worship almighty God and serve our
Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.
|
| |
|
If you would like to know more about Jesus Christ;
if you feel that only the Bible can give you the truth;
if you desire to be associated with other fellow Christians in a
comprehensive and biblical Christian work, comprising home and
foreign missions and a Theological Seminary and relations with
other Christians in many parts of the world; if you desire a
scriptural meeting place for those who love to worship Christ unitedly
in spirit and in truth; if you have been searching for the biblical
alternative, you want the Reformed Episcopal Church and
we sincerely invite you to come.
